Paratheater is a form of experimental theater that was pioneered by Jerzy Grotowski, a Polish theater director, in the 1960s. It emphasizes the physical and spiritual elements of performance and encourages actors to explore their inner selves through non-performative acting , movement, sound, and shamanic techniques. Antero Alli, an American playwright and theater director, continued to develop the form in the 1980s and 1990s, adapting it for a contemporary audience. 
Entheotic theater is a form of theater that  is similar to jungian psychodrama in many ways. During the process of entheotic theatre a myth is drawn from the participants  and it is mounted as a full scale production and performed as a sacred offering to the land and community. William Pennel Rock, an American playwright and theater director, is known for his work in this field. Our work is influenced by the Origins process developed by W P Rock
